“800 series” M-48 SuperMasks® & MOD-1 Full Face Masks now “805 series.”
Because the M-48 Full Face Masks are truly modular masks, it is more efficient and versatile to offer them in their main modular components. For this reason, instead of providing them as complete “800 series” with PODs and regulators, we have eliminated the “800” part numbers and the configurations shown above. In short, now the customer will “pick a mask & pick a pod”.
The SuperMask® and the MOD-1 are now offered as Masks without PODs. The three main masks, no POD are:
805-175 MOD-1 Mask, No POD
The 805-175 mask has a newly designed skirt. Refer to bulletin #13 of 2015.
805-010 M-48 SuperMask®, Black Lens Sides, No POD
805-010C M-48 SuperMask®, Clear Lens Sides, No POD
The three main SCUBA PODs are (Any POD goes with any Mask):
- 805-015 SCUBA POD with Tilt to Purge
- 805-026 SCUBA POD with Balanced Purge Tube
- 200-130 SCUBA POD with Balanced SCUBA Regulator installed
The two below will no longer be referred to as “NATO” PODs. Instead, the description is now simply Rebreather PODs:
- 805-082 Rebreather POD with Switchover Regulator
- 805-080 Rebreather POD, No Switchover Regulator
