Kirby Morgan’s Air Control Systems (KMACS-5s) will soon be shipping with communicators & chargers manufactured by Ocean Technology Systems (OTS). These communicators are configured much the same and have the same features, capabilities and part numbers as the preceding model.

415-107 OTS Communicator - A review of the features:
- This Communicator will retrofit into earlier models (KMACS 5, DCS-2, 2As).
- If a replacement communicator (415-107) is purchased for an earlier KMACS 5 or DCSs the new 2016 OTS charger, P/N 415-150, should be ordered along with it.
- The comms incorporate a switch to allow cross talk between the divers in two wire mode.
- The push to talk enables the tender to choose Diver 1, Diver 2, or both.
- The circuitry of the communicator contributes to noise reduction.
*New P/N for Battery Charger: 415-150 OTS Charger…
- Has a built in voltage adapter (for international use) which automatically converts from 110 to 220 volt with an appropriate external plug. The power cord handles 110/220 volts.
- The charger can remain plugged in while the panel is in use, i.e. the 415-150 charger and 415-107 communicator can be operated simultaneously.
- The new 2016, 415-150 Charger by OTS is not compatible with many earlier communicators, but is compatible with those used from August 2000 to August 2006.
The current headset 415-145 is compatible with both the new OTS made communicator and the previous communicators.
Availability of the pre-2016 *415-030 Battery charger (Amron Int’l) is limited to stock on hand.
There are a limited number of 425-099 Communicator Conversion Kits and 400-046 KMACS 5s with communicators by the previous manufacturer (Amron Int’l) still available – LIMITED TO STOCK ON HAND.
