The 525-765 kit includes the 455 regulator along with tie wraps, an installation guide and warranty card .
The stainless steel ruggedness, the smooth, easy breathing performance and simple maintenance of the 455 Regulator are no longer limited to the KM 97 only!
With kit 525-765, the 455 regulator (i.e. 505-455 regulator of the KM 97 helmet) can now be fitted to both 18/28 Band Masks® and to the KM 37, KM 57, SL 27*, SL 17C, SL 17K and the KM 37SS.
*NOTE: The SuperLite® 27® Helmet requires small scale fiberglass modification in order to accept the 455. Therefore, the 455 will be available for installation on the 27® through Kirby Morgan® dealerships that have been trained in this new procedure. More information on this will be available soon.
Also Note: Kit 525-765, serves as a replacement for any existing 455 regulators because the 455 regulator 505- 455 will not be sold separately.
A kit to change over the KM 77 stainless steel helmet, will be announced in a separate bulletin soon.
