The M-48 MOD-1 Modular Full Face Mask is now shipping with a new Mask Skirt, P/N 810-017. The mask skirt is the main rubber face seal/body of the MOD-1 Mask.
The 810-017 Mask Skirt replaces the now obsolete 810-008 Mask Skirt.
The face seal is an improved design, complimented with a new liquid silicone formula. The new design and material make the mask more comfortable, resistant to tearing, and increase the range of fit over the earlier version.
Part numbers for ordering the M-48 Mod-1 Mask have not changed. The Mask Skirt part number 810-017 will be the only change, found on the blow-apart drawing, and used for ordering if a technician requires a spare.
The mask skirt for the original M-48 SuperMask®, (P/Ns 800-048, 800-050, 805-010), remains unchanged.
Currently, there is no change in price for the mask or mask skirt (prices are subject to change without notice).
