An attachable hood kit is now available for the M-48 MOD-1 modular full face mask.
The hood is attached to the mask with brackets and screws. A short rear zipper and earphone pockets are standard. The hood is made out of 5 mm YAMAMOTO neoprene.
The kit is available in two sizes: small/medium and large/extra large. The kit is sold separately and will not be installed by Kirby Morgan®.
The new hood is only for the M-48 MOD-1 and will not fit the M-48 SuperMask®.
